Capable of accommodating up to 335 kg of mussels or 460 kg of clams, the tub’s unique design ensures that an even flow of water is maintained around each mollusc, resulting in the perfect oxygenation of each individual mussel. The Sæplast 705 insulated seafood container is a special design for depuration of shellfish and life storage of various crab species. The traditional use is to stack the containers up and let water flow between the tubs through internal piping, thereby collecting contaminants at the bottom of the container. The Sæplast 705 insulated seafood container is double-walled with a PUR core. These containers are part of system installations that provide better water and space utilization than previous methods of using pools for depuration.
